While industrialization has contributed to technological advancement in society, it has also brought some negative consequences. Explain the negative environmental impacts of acid rain and global warming.
Nowadays, human enjoy the life with high
technology since the industrialization, but it voids much carbon dioxide at the
same time. Acid rain means natural precipitation is acidic (伍旭升, 2002, p.37), and global warming is the
increasing temperature of the surface of the Earth (p.45), they are both caused
by the industrialization. While the industrialization improves technology in
society, it brings some bad impacts to environment.
First, acid rain would destroy the forests
and buildings, as the acidity of acid rain are sourer than normal Water. When
acid rain falls on the floor, it decreases the pH of soil. Acid rain slow down
the decomposing of organic compound, plants are difficult to get nutrition, and
the plants would die because of lacking of nutrition (王革華, 2005, p.122). On the other hand, acid
rain would destroy buildings too. It would corrode metals, leathers, concretes,
etc., the speed of corrode is faster than something which do not affected by
acid rain two to five times (伍旭升, 2002,
p.41), so something like monuments, bridges and rail would be damaged or rust
very fast (王革華, 2005, p.122). All
in all, forests and buildings would be destroyed by acid rain because of the
strong acidity.
Second, global warming would kill many
animals. Since global warming increases the temperature of the Earth, ice in
the South Pole and the North Pole is dissolving, then animals which live in
those Pole cannot live and breed. For example, polar bear which live in the
North Pole, if there is not enough ice for them to rest; they cannot catch
enough fish enough power, so Polar bear would become extinct due to global
warming (Andy, 2002, para.1). Besides, dissolving of ice would lead to
increasing of sea level. When the sea level increases, many countries along the
coast would be submerged, therefore, fewer places for animals to live because
it is not appropriate to all of animals to live in highlands (伍旭升, 2002, p.47). Overall, many animals would
be killed by global warming.
Third, food would be less and noxious.
There are many different noxious substances in acid rain, which included
cadmium, lead, mercury, etc. (伍旭升, 2002,
p.40). When those rain fell into river or ocean, it would kill plankton and
reduce the food source of fish (王革華, 2005, p.122); so much fish will die because of that reason.
Moreover, if people use that water plant or acid rain fall on vegetable
naturally, those vegetables will absorb noxious substances, and then it will
cause harm to animals (伍旭升, 2002,
p.40). When animals ate other animals which are noxious, then the animals would
sick or die. Acid rain may also permeate into under water (王革華, 2005, p.123), and then some animals and
insects which live under the ground would be affected. Therefore, it will have
less food which is appropriate to animals.
Fourth, acid rain and global warming would
worsen the health of animals. Since food would be noxious, it would affect
their health after they ate the food. Furthermore, when there is acid rain,
animals breathe with those noxious substances which suffuse in the air, their
lungs would be destroyed and they may die (王革華, 2005, p.122). on the other hand, global warming leads to pandemic.
As the Earth become warm, germs are easier to growth up, and many animals will
sick because their immunity against germs is affected by change of temperature
(P.131). Also, the high temperature may kill animals directly. Many animals
cannot endure high temperature; they may get heatstroke or die because of heat
wave (P.131). Overall, health of animals will be worsening because of acid rain
and global warming.
In conclusion, there are many negative
environmental impacts of acid rain and global warming since the
industrialization. It destroys buildings and pollutes the water and food, which
means that it would worsen the health of human and animals. Also, many animals
lost their lives because of the increasing of temperature. Therefore, people
should reduce the greenhouse gases to protect the environment.

今日既評論:
1. 連接詞故意用較長的字
2. REFERENCES 不夠多又不夠科學性
3. 文章結構繁複, 不夠簡潔
4. 沒有新論點, 只是從REFERENCES 中抄改
5. GLOBAL WARMING 不是問題, 所以文章前設有問題
6. 文法問題
